About two years ago I bought a used car. Buying used cars can be an adventure, since you’re not really sure what all the quirks are when you decide to make the purchase.  Being without a functioning vehicle at the time, I decided to buy “Nala” - a 2001 Chevrolet Impala.

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession, so that you might speak of the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” [1 Peter 2:9]

I know I have academically accepted this - living in this world full of moral darkness.  The proof is endless -  this world is dark, God's ways are light. But how can we fully appreciate it when sometimes the constrast between light and dark gets dampened in our minds?
