Don’s career was predominately involved in the field of education, having been employed by the Victorian Education Department in Australia for 38 years, during which he taught at the Primary School level. He served in curriculum and development, and at one time was seconded to the “Australian Council For Educational Research” as part of a team to develop a series of mathematical text books, and finished his career with the Education Department as a School Principal.
After retirement he was approached by a technical college to teach mathematics to adults studying for electrical qualifications.
In 1968 Don joined God’s Church where he met and married his wife, Dawn in 1972.
