Even though born in Georgia in the American southeast, Philip Edwards spent most of his youth in the San Diego area of southern California. As an avid late night talk radio listener while in high school during the early 1970s, he ventured across the same voice on many distant radio stations and soon became intrigued with the message of The World Tomorrow. After several years of listening and studying materials, he was baptized while in college and has spent several decades in the Churches of God in southern California, northern California and eventually Arizona where he and his wife Cheronne attend the Phoenix Northwest congregation. When not at work, weekends will find Philip writing, reading, or tending to his organic garden where he enjoys building healthy soil and strong vegetables suitable to withstand the rigors of the Arizona desert.
