Robert Curry is thankful foremost to be called now into the body of Christ. Early in his senior year Robert’s mother showed him an article by Herbert Armstrong. After studying it thoroughly verse by verse, he spent many excited months devouring the stack of Plain Truth and Good News magazines his mom had kept for ten years. The most influential blessing of his life was attending Ambassador College in Pasadena from 1970 to 1974. During college Robert wrote regularly for The Portfolio and had a few articles published in the Worldwide News.
After graduation, Robert worked in Washington, D.C., as a typesetter for five years and then was the assistant to Dr. Richard Walther, library director at Ambassador College, for 11 years.
In 1989 Robert married his wife, Mary, and they have three daughters and one son. The family moved to Colorado in 1990, where Robert published The Penrose Choice newspaper for 3 years. Since then he has worked as an office manager and remodeled houses. Robert serves in the Colorado Springs congregation, and he likes writing for the United News.
