Sonia González was born in East Chicago, Indiana, in September of 1955. She married in 1977 and had five children. For over 30 years she has tried her hand at writing various essays, articles and short stories both in English and Spanish. Having experienced divorce, death of a family member and homelessness, she writes from her experiences. Her goal when writing is to teach readers about God. Her writing and bilingual abilities helped her to procure a position at a high school where she has worked for over 16 years.
She was baptized in December of 1985. She attends the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, congregation and enjoys visiting different UCG congregations.
