[Darris McNeely] Check your Bible. No matter who' teaching, preaching, or showing you something from the word of God, check your Bible to be sure that it is true, even if it' what we're saying here on Beyond Today.

We recently had a letter from one of our viewers who, after watching our program on the trinity (Is God a Trinty?), wrote to us and had this to say about our teaching: "How startled I was to see you discredit the Holy Spirit of God as part of the trinity today on your program. Respectfully, I submit to you that you have used Scripture to damage the Kingdom of God versus enlarging it. I pray that the eyes of your heart be enlightened, friend, in Jesus' name, and I pray that you and your colleagues or those who gave permission for such a program to be aired are brought to repentance. I've also prayed that those who watched your program today, or who will view it in the future, recognize it as false teaching." Fair enough. We get a lot of critical comments as well as positive comments about topics we cover on Beyond Today.

But check your Bible, no matter who' teaching you, and especially with what we teach you on very critically important topics that deal with your salvation, your relationship with God Almighty, and with the Bible. Check it out. Make sure that what we say is indeed the truth. You do not want to be following anyone who was labeled in the Bible as either a false prophet or a false teacher.

In 2 Peter chapter 2, it is a very interesting phrase and statement that Peter puts here. He says, "But there were false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed" (2 Peter 2:1-2)

So whether we are talking about God, and whether or not the teaching of the trinity is biblical and true, whether we're teaching you about any other point of God' law, the Sabbath, the Holy Days, the fates of those who die, going to either heaven or hell, and what the Bible teaches about those subjects – always check your Bible and prove whether or not what we teach is true from the word of God. Then make your decision. This particular reader, in their right, wrote to us about what we said about the trinity. We have a lot of material that we have published and offered on that program regarding that topic. And you owe it to yourself to know what the truth is on the subject.  And so, we appreciate everyone' prayers, and we appreciate that everyone learns because of what we teach and how important it really is to check your Bible.
