[Darris McNeely] We’ve been taping Beyond Today programs this week. I did a program that we hope will be a series, maybe a seven-part series. We entitled the program “Kingdoms at War: Powers of the Unseen World”. And we’re basing it out of the story and experiences of the book of Daniel. I was struck as I prepared my script and we all came together here with your scripts – you did one on fasting and prayer, you did one on spiritual purity, moral purity that – how closely it tied in to the story of Daniel -- fasting and prayer and leading a clean life in the midst of a corrupt, pagan culture. But those are –sometimes the way our programs come together teaches, I think, a lesson that we hopefully have a little bit of extra help putting it together.

[Steve Myers] That story of Daniel is an amazing one, I think, that there’s so many different facets to it. And this unseen world sometimes, because we don’t see it, you know, we discount it. But boy, is the Bible really clear there are unseen forces that we do fight against, and the New Testament is so clear that these are powerful enemies that are out to disrupt our spiritual life.

[Gary Petty] What I found very exciting about this idea of a seven-part series – and of course, they won’t run week by week, but there’ll be weeks in between each one – but when we put them together, we’re going to end up with seven programs that fit together to tell the entire story of Daniel and all those prophecies in Daniel. That whole story’s going to be right there together. So I’m looking forward to putting these seven programs together.

[Darris McNeely] And it’s also a good story to get into, because it relates so much to what’s going on in our world today, in helping people to understand our current world situation. So we’ll look for that as it begins to come out here in a few weeks.
