Ever notice how often people talk the talk but do not walk the walk? Words and promises come easily, but living up to our words is another story. The Bible tells us to be “doers of the word, and not hearers only” (James 1:22). We can make all the promises we want, and put a lot of emotion and heart into our words, but until we follow through with actions, the words are just that—words.

Putting actions into our words is the hard part—but it is the only part that carries any value.
