In different ways we can all express how cats are independent and not as affectionate as some other animals. Cats in the wild are hunters, meat eaters and therefore killers. But people can grow terribly attached to a cat, and they are lovely creatures. Perhaps it is their independent nature that we appreciate.
After the days of creation, God saw that what He had made was “very good” (Genesis 1:31 Genesis 1:31And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Lions that are of the cat family will eat straw like an ox (Isaiah 11:7 Isaiah 11:7And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
American King James Version×). God loves all of His creation—He is a cat lover.
