Farmers can be just as frustrated and impatient as anyone else. But when faced with something that cannot be changed like the weather, the farmer has learned to be very patient (James 5:7). There are many things on this earth that we would like to see changed and improved. When things are beyond our control, as weather is, we need to be like the farmer and simply wait for God to act.

The Bible tells us to establish our hearts to become patient and wait for the coming of the Lord to solve problems we cannot handle (James 5:8). The coming of the Lord is at hand as we can see by the growing desperate circumstances of this world we live in. There are no solutions that humans can find to solve the dilemmas we face, but having the faith and trust in Christ's return strengthens us.
