Who Died and Left America in Charge?
A commentary by Randy Stiver
United Church of God Pastor, Columbus and Cambridge, Ohio
Like my grandparents before them, my parents Luther and Naomi
served as foster parents for some years providing a temporary loving
home for children whose own families had broken down. From the Oglala
tribe of the Lakota nation, two brothers aged eight and six came to stay
with my folks.
One day the boys helped my father clean the workshop on our farm. As
he swept the floor he gave them directions to carry this here, that there
and something somewhere else. Finally the younger brother piped up and
said, "Lute, who died and left you boss?"
Likewise, although unfortunately not with the same cheerful affection,
many tribes and nations frequently pipe up today, demanding, "Who
died and left America boss?"
Who gave the United States the right to throw its superpower weight
around, pushing others here or there? What has made America think she
can dominate world history from mid-20th century to now? Why does she
possess and control such a gigantic share of all the natural and human
resources, wealth and influence, yet have such a small percentage of
the world's population? Why do the stars and stripes of the American
flag dominate the bulk of the sea-gates, air travel gates (strategic
airports) and even space-gates (satellites) of planet earth?
Who said that English should be the default language of modern computer
technology? Speaking of English, the same questions could have been asked
and applied to a degree to the British people for they were the global "boss" of
nations for 150 years prior to America's ascendancy.
America 's Civil War president Abraham Lincoln eloquently summarized
this international inequity that heralded America's future command
of world power:
"In the great journal of things happening under the sun, we,
the American People … find ourselves in the peaceful possession,
of the fairest portion of the earth, as regards extent of territory,
fertility of soil, and salubrity of climate. We find ourselves under
the government of a system of political institutions, conducing more
essentially to the ends of civil and religious liberty, than any of which
the history of former times tells us" (Abraham Lincoln, address
to the Young Men's Lyceum of Springfield, Illinois, January 27,
1838).
Best land, best system, most freedom of anywhere on earth—no
wonder President Lincoln referred to America as the "last, best
hope of mankind." Amazingly America's inheritance of so much
of the best stuff happened because of events in ancient history.
"We, when mounting the stage of existence, found ourselves the
legal inheritors of these fundamental blessings. We toiled not in the
acquirement or establishment of them—they are a legacy bequeathed
us, by a once hardy, brave, and patriotic, but now lamented and departed
race of ancestors" (Abraham Lincoln, ibid.)"
Hmmm… who died and left America boss—at least for now?
Who were those ancient, lamented and departed ancestors?
If we can discover the true origins of the early American and British
peoples who gave birth to the powerful nations they built, then can't
we also learn something of the ancient tribal origins of other nations?
Then, by prophetic extension, can't we also learn things
to expect in the years ahead.
Yes, we can. That knowledge is available for all to see!
The undeniable hand of God has been guiding the history of modern descendants
of His physical nation of old. Therefore we can see His hand upon the
incredible events prophesied for our immediate future.
It has been positively established that America and Britain's
lamented and departed ancestors were the ancient biblical tribe of Joseph,
one of the twelve tribes of ancient Israel. Please note, they always
were and still are distinct from the Jews who descended from their brother-tribe
of Judah.
As with a key, by knowing their ancient tribal origins you can unlock
to your understanding the grand, divine and amazing design of history.
With that knowledge you can put faces on national populations mentioned
in Bible prophecies for today and the days ahead. Those same prophecies
also point directly to the second coming of Jesus Christ to set up of
the Kingdom of God on earth.
Yes, America has become the superpower "boss" among the
nations for the moment. But after a few more troubled and traumatic years
the good news is that a new Boss, the true Messiah, will arrive to become
the Lord over all nations.

marvelous and exciting future? Learn more now! Just request or download
