Thousands of years ago, it was probably rather simple not to eat unclean meats (described in Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14). In today's world things have dramatically changed. Pork can sneak up on us.

Do you realize that most sausage companies use pork casings on their beef sausage? Check the label. The common brands like Hillshire Farms and Eckrich have beef sausage stuffed inside hog intestines.
