Last Great Day

Last Great Day 2012 (also called "the eighth day") - October 8, 2012

"Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life" (Revelation 20:11-12).

This final commanded festival of the year shows how deep and far reaching are the merciful judgments of God. All those who died without understanding God's truths will be at last given their first opportunity to really know their Creator and join His family.

Yesterday was  busy day for our tour group. We left Aqaba and traveled to the Dead Sea for a swim in the murky mineral rich waters at Earth's lowest point. Everyone floats in the Dead Sea as the water is 30 percent solid. People come to these waters for relaxation and spa treatments.

Feast of Tabernacles 2011: In Pursuit of the Kingdom of God

The 2011 Feast of Tabernacles sermon video is titled: "In Pursuit of the Kingdom of God." The Kingdom is our destination. We look forward to the time when Christ returns to establish His Kingdom here on this earth. It will be a time of great peace like we have never experienced. All of humankind will be striving to live God's way of life.

As the United Church of God, we are striving to work humbly together, as one body, doing His work and preparing ourselves for that time. Continuing on in the commission Christ assigned to his people, His Church moves forward, pursuing His Kingdom.

This sermon video will tell stories of UCG members and their families and congregations from diverse locations. As brothers and sisters in Christ, their stories should bring to mind your own calling and inspire you to more fervently seek the Kingdom.
