The threats of global warming continue.

Global warming could trigger an explosion of life threatening infectious diseases in areas where they are not now present, according to a recent report released by the World Wildlife Fund. The report cites malaria, cholera, dengue fever, yellow fever and encephalitis among diseases likely to crop up as gases collect in the atmosphere and warm the earth.

WWF released the report at the Climate-Change conference in Buenos Aires in early November ( National Post)
