Plump apple dumplings await your taste buds with this recipe

| 1 | Can | frozen apple juice concentrate (12 oz can) |
| 1 | Can | water (use juice can) |
| 1⁄2 | Teaspoon | cinnamon |
| 4 | Unknown | large McIntosh apples (or 8 small apples) |

In a saucepan place apple juice, water, and cinnamon, Put on low heat. In bowl mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Work in butter. Add milk and stir. Divide into 8 pieces. Roll each piece on floured surface. Peel, quarter, core and cut up apples. Put two pieces of apple in center of dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon and 1/2 T. sugar. Form dumplings. Place in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Pour sauce around, not over dumplings. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Check apples for tenderness. Cover with foil and bake 10 minutes more as needed.
