Ingredients

6Cupsliced apples
1Packagevanilla pudding mix (not instant)
1⁄3Cupflour
1⁄4Cupoats
1Teaspooncinnamon
1⁄3Cupsugar
3Tablespoonbutter

Instructions

Stir together 1 c. flour, 1/4 c. oats, 1 1/2 tsp. sugar, and salt. Mix in milk and oil. (see additional notes for pie crust ingredients) Press into bottom and sides of pie pan, but not over rim. Sprinkle sliced apples with dry vanilla pudding mix. Pile apples into pie shell. Crumble last five ingredients together to make crumb topping. Sprinkle topping over pie. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes, until golden.

Crust: 1 c. flour, 1/4 c. quick cooking oats, 1 1/2 tsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. milk, 1/3 c. oil
