Ingredients

1⁄2Poundbeef bacon (cut up)
2Tablespoonoil
3CanBush's vegetarian baked beans
4Tablespoonbrown sugar (heaping tablespoons)
2 rings of pancake syrup
2 onions (chopped)
 Dashsalt
1 bottle white Karo syrup
5 swirls of yellow msutard (optional)

Instructions

Cook bacon, onions, and salt in oil until slightly brown. Drain  2 cans of beans and add beans to bacon mixture. Add third can of beans, juice and all. Mix in sugar and Karo syrup. Take the pancake syrup and pour in a circle twice around the bowl. If desired, do the same with the yellow mustard 5-6 times. Mix together and taste. You may need more mustard or syrup. Bake in oven in crockery-type pot or casserole dish 2-3 hours at 300 or for 1 hour at 350.
