Beans, beans, the magical fruit...enjoy!

| 1⁄2 | Pound | beef bacon (cut up) |
| 2 | Tablespoon | oil |
| 3 | Can | Bush's vegetarian baked beans |
| 4 | Tablespoon | brown sugar (heaping tablespoons) |
| 2 | rings of pancake syrup | |
| 2 | onions (chopped) | |
| Dash | salt | |
| 1 | bottle white Karo syrup | |
| 5 | swirls of yellow msutard (optional) |
Cook bacon, onions, and salt in oil until slightly brown. Drain 2 cans of beans and add beans to bacon mixture. Add third can of beans, juice and all. Mix in sugar and Karo syrup. Take the pancake syrup and pour in a circle twice around the bowl. If desired, do the same with the yellow mustard 5-6 times. Mix together and taste. You may need more mustard or syrup. Bake in oven in crockery-type pot or casserole dish 2-3 hours at 300 or for 1 hour at 350.
