Low-calorie muffins do not have to mean tasteless. These yummy muffins made with maple syrup will make you want to bake them all the time

Ingredients

1Cupbuttermilk
1Cupbananas (mashed)
1⁄2Cupmaple syrup
2 eggs
1Teaspoonsalt
2Teaspoonbaking soda
1Teaspoonvanilla
2 1⁄2Cupoat bran
1⁄2Cupwhole-wheat bread flour
1⁄2Cuprice flour

Instructions

Mix milk, banana, syrup, eggs, salt, soda and vanilla.  Then add the flour.  The dough will be a little thicker than cake dough.  Put dough into muffin pan.  Bake at 450° for 20 minutes or until brown.
