| 1 | Cup | sugar |
| 1⁄2 | bell pepper (chopped) | |
| 1 | head cabbage (shredded) | |
| 1 | Can | diced tomatoes (28 ounces, drained) |
| Dash | Tabasco sauce (to taste) |
Bring vinegar, sugar, and bell pepper to a boil. Set aside to cool. Mix shredded cabbage, tomatoes, and cooled vinegar-sugar mixture. Add salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce to taste.
