| 1⁄2 | Pound | monterey jack cheese (grated) |

| 1 | Cup | flour |
| 1 1⁄3 | Cup | milk (or cream or half and half) |
| 1⁄2 | Cup | butter (melted) |
| 1 | Teaspoon | salt |
| 2 | Teaspoon | garlic powder (optional) |
Mix cheese, flour, salt, garlic powder (if desired) and slightly beaten eggs. Add milk and butter. Mix and pour into a loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes.
