Work together the flour, salt, butter, and white sugar like you would for a pie crust. Then gently pat into 9x13 baking pan. Bake crust at 375 for 10-15 minutes. Beat together the brown sugar and eggs. Pour this mixture over the hot crust. Now mix together the coconut, nuts, and vanilla. Sprinkle this over the egg mixture and return to the oven for another 25-30 minutes. Cut into squares when cool.
