| 1 | Cup | all-purpose flour (plus 2 Tablespoons, sifted) |

| 1⁄2 | Cup | flaked coconut |
| 1 | Cup | semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Cream together butter and sugars; add egg, vanilla, and water. Mix well. Sift together flour, soda, and salt; blend into creamed mixture. Add coconut and chocolate chips to batter; blend thoroughly. Spread batter in a greased 9 x 13 x 2 pan and bake in a 375° oven for 10-12 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into squares.
