Rich bars that are easy to make and a hit with everyone.

| 1⁄2 | Teaspoon | cinnamon (ground) |
| 1 | Cup | butter (softened) |
| 1⁄2 | Cup | brown sugar |
| 1⁄2 | Cup | sugar |
| 1 1⁄2 | Teaspoon | vanilla |
| 1 | egg | |
| 1 1⁄4 | Cup | quick oats |
| 2 | Cup | milk chocolate chips |
| 3⁄4 | Cup | nuts (finely chopped (optional)) |
Combine flour and cinnamon. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla until creamy; beat in egg. Gradually combine the four mixture with the sugar mixture. Stir in oats, 3/4 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup nuts. Spread onto lightly greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 22 to 28 minutes or until center is set. Immediately sprinkle with remaining chips; let stand for 5 minutes or until chips are shiny. Spread chips and then sprinkle with remaining nuts. Cool in pan on wire rack.
