Ingredients

1Cupmushrooms
2Tablespoonall-purpose flour
1⁄2Cuplight cream
1⁄4Teaspoonground nutmeg
2Tablespoononion (chopped)
2Cupchicken or beef broth
1⁄2Teaspoonsalt
1⁄4Teaspoonpepper
2Tablespoonbutter

Instructions

Slice mushrooms through cap and stem. Cook with onion in butter for 5 minutes. Blend in flour; add broth. Cook and stir until slightly thickened. Cool slightly; add cream and seasonings. Heat through. Serve at once.
