Pineapple and ginger are slow cooked with the meat to create a sweet and savory meal straight from your crock-pot

| 3 | Pound | roast beef (can use up to a 4 lb roast) |
| 1⁄4 | Cup | soy sauce |
| 3⁄4 | Cup | water |
| 1⁄4 | Teaspoon | pepper |
| 1⁄4 | Teaspoon | ginger |
| 1 | onion (chopped) | |
| 1 | Clove | garlic (chopped) |
| 1 | Can | pineapple tidbits (reserve half juice) |
| 1 | Package | mushrooms (fresh, sliced) |
Place 1 T. oil in a skillet and brown roast. After the roast is browned, place it in a Crock-Pot. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, water, pepper, ginger, and pineapple juice. Pour over the roast. Add onion, garlic, pineapple and mushrooms. cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
