Easier than a traditional boxed cake, and tons more delicious, this fruit cobbler-like dessert is delicious!

| 1 | Can | cherry pie filling |
| 1 | Can | crushed pineapple |
| 1 | Package | yellow cake mix (dry) |
| 1 | Cup | butter (melted) |
| 1 | Cup | nuts (chopped) |
| whipped cream |
Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Dump in pie filling and pineapple. Spread to cover bottom of pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over this. Pour melted butter over cake mix. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Do not stir! Bake at 350º for 1 hour. Top with whipped cream if desired.
