Prep time1 1⁄2 hours

Ingredients

1Packagechocolate cake mix
1Cupnuts (pecan halves, walnuts, chopped peanuts, etc.)
1Cupunsweetened coconut
8Ouncecream cheese
1⁄2Cupbutter (1 stick)
1Poundpowdered sugar

Instructions

Spray oil in a 9 x 13 cake pan or butter the bottom. Spread the nuts and coconut over the pan. Mix cake as directed on box, pour over the pan evenly. Soften the cream cheese and butter in microwave (but do not melt) and beat together well. Beat in the powdered sugar gradually. This “icing” can be either fluffy or runny, either is OK. Pour this over the unbaked cake mix evenly. It will either sink in or float on top. Bake for 55 minutes at 350° the cake surface looks like an earthquake disaster and tastes great!
