Ingredients

2Cupall-purpose flour
2Cupsugar
1Cupbuttermilk
3⁄4Cupvegetable oil
1 1⁄2Cupfig preserves
3 eggs
1Teaspooncinnamon
1Teaspooncloves
1Teaspoonsoda
1Teaspoonsalt
  nuts (if desired)

Instructions

Mix eggs, sugar, and milk together. Add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
