Sugar and soy sauce are used to make a delicious glaze to top a favorite recipe for meat loaf

Ingredients

1 1⁄2Poundground beef
1Cupbread crumbs (dry)
1Cupmilk
1 egg (beaten)
1⁄2Cuponions (minced)
2Tablespoontomato paste
1Tablespoonhorseradish
1 1⁄2Teaspoonsalt & pepper
3Tablespoonbrown sugar
3Tablespoonsoy sauce

Instructions

Combine beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, onion, 1 T. tomato paste, horseradish, salt and pepper.  Mix well.  Shape into loaf and place in shallow baking pan.  Combine remaining tomato paste with brown sugar and soy sauce.  Spread over loaf.  Bake at 350° for 1 hour 15 minutes.
