| 4 | Package | dry zesty Italian dressing mix |
| 1 | onion (large, chopped) | |
| 1 | Cup | liquid Italian dressing |
| 4 | Can | green chilies (small, optional) |
| water (as needed) |
Layer all ingredients in Crock-Pot. Add water just until meat is covered. Cook on low for 24 hours, stirring every 6 hours to break up the meat. Serve on French bread or rolls.
