| Prep time | 15 minutes |
| 1⁄4 | Cup | butter |
| 8 | Cup | mini kosher marshmallows |
| 2 | Cup | crushed shredded wheat |
| 2 | Cup | corn flakes cereal |
| 3 | Cup | Rice Krispies |
| 1⁄2 | Cup | chopped walnuts (optional) |
| 1⁄3 | Cup | wheat germ |
| 2 | Cup | coconut |
| 1 1⁄2 | Cup | chocolate chips |
Melt butter and marshmallows over low heat. Remove from heat; add shredded wheat, corn flakes, RIce Krispies, nuts, wheat germ, coconut, and chocolate chips and mix well. Press into 13x9x2 pan; chill. Cut into 1 1/2 inch bars.
You can omit the chocolate chips altogether. For convenience and speed, premix all dry ingredients in an old oatmeal container. It is critical that you mix all ingredients while still hot.
