A hearty, ketchup based stew, packed full of meat and vegetables.

| 2 | Can | tomatoes (14 ounces, mashed, not drained) |
| 2 | Can | red kidney beans (14 ounces) |
| 2 | Can | water |
| 1 | Cup | ketchup |
| salt (to taste) | ||
| pepper (to taste) |
Combine hamburger, bell pepper, onion, and celery in a heavy skillet. Brown and drain well. In a large pot, bring tomatoes, beans, and water to a boil. Stir often. Add hamburger, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Stir well, reduce heat to simmer. Cook for 30-45 minutes. Serve over rice with crackers or corn bread.
