Ingredients

1Cupwater
1⁄2Cupoil
1 2⁄3Cupmatzo meal
1Tablespoonsugar
1Teaspoonsalt
4 eggs

Instructions

Combine water and oil and bring to a boil. Combine the matzo meal, sugar, and salt. Add to the water and oil and stir until it leaves the side of the pan. Remove from the heat. Add 4 eggs, one at a time. Let sit 15 minutes, or until you can handle the dough. Make patty-shaped balls and flatten them a little. You will need to oil your hands. Bake at 375º for 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and make a slit in the side and bake for 15 minutes more.

Notes

These taste GREAT right out of the oven. They make great buns for sandwiches, or they can be sliced in half and toasted for breakfast. Keep them refrigerated or they will mold.
