| 1 | Pound | fresh mushrooms (sliced, quartered, or small whole) |
| 4 | Tablespoon | olive oil |
| 1 | Tablespoon | fresh minced garlic |
| 1 | Teaspoon | dried parsley |
| 1⁄8 | Teaspoon | salt (or to taste) |
| Pinch | pepper | |
| 1⁄4 | Cup | good drinking wine |
Saute garlic in oil in a large frying pan until garlic is tender. Do not brown. Add mushrooms and season with parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat with oil. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add wine. Turn up heat to medium high and continue cooking and stirring until all the wine is evaporated and mushrooms look glazed.
This sounds so delicious...I wanna try to make this the next time I have a good steak. Bet it would be smashing on there!
