| 1 | Pound | coleslaw mix |
| 1⁄2 | Bunch | green onions (chopped) |
| 1 | Cup | sunflower seeds |
| 1 | Cup | sliced almonds (toasted) |
| 3⁄4 | Cup | olive oil |
| 1⁄4 | Cup | sugar |
Mix together the oil, sugar, vinegar, and package of spices from the noodles. Mix coleslaw, green onions, sunflower seeds and almonds in a large bowl. Right before serving, break up dry noodles and add to slaw mixture and toss ogether with the oil mixture.
Recipe Note:
May use chicken or beef flavored Ramen noodles instead of oriental flavored.
We have a family tradition since 1970 to give all the children invited to Night to Be Much Observed a gift. We tie it to when the Israelites left Egypt with a "high hand," since the Egyptians gave them gifts. Our children love it.
