Heat oven to 350º. Grease 13 x 9 pan. Place 1 cup of butter in large microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high until butter is melted (approximately 2 minutes). Stir in 2 cups of sugar and 2 teaspoons of vanilla. Add 3 eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Add ¾ cup of cocoa and beat until blended. Add 1¼ cups of flour, ½ teaspoon of baking powder, and ¼ teaspoon of salt, beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Remove once up of batter. Pour remaining batter into prepared pan. Spread peanut butter filling on top. Drop reserved batter by teaspoonfuls over filling. Using knife, gently swirl through top 2 layers for marbled effect. Bake 35-40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out almost clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 36.
