Beef meatballs simmered in a sweet and sour pineapple and ginger sauce.

Ingredients

1Cupsoft bread crumbs
1Poundlean ground beef
1⁄4Cuponion (chopped)
1⁄2Cupmilk
1Teaspoonsalt
1⁄8Teaspoonpepper
1Tablespoonsoy sauce
1⁄4Cuphoney
1Cuppineapple juice
3Tablespoonvinegar
1Tablespoonbutter
1⁄4Cuponion (chopped)
1 1⁄2Tablespooncornstarch
1⁄4Teaspoonground ginger
  green pepper strips

Instructions

Meatballs:

Combine all ingredients, then make into balls of 2 level tablespoons each. Roast in oven, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes. Serve with sauce.



Sauce:

Combine ingredients and stir over low heat until thickens. May need to double recipe.
