A taste of royalty with a hint of coconut for good measure!

| 1 1⁄4 | Cup | flour |
| 1 | Teaspoon | baking powder |
| 1 | Teaspoon | soda |
| 1⁄2 | Teaspoon | salt |
| 1⁄2 | Cup | sugar (granulated) |
| 1⁄2 | Cup | brown sugar |
| 1⁄2 | Cup | butter |
| 1 | egg | |
| 1⁄2 | Teaspoon | maple flavoring |
| 1 | Cup | rolled oats |
| 1 | Cup | coconut |
Sift flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Add sugars, butter, egg, and extract. Beat until smooth. Fold in oats and coconut. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until done.
