Ingredients

1Poundground beef (FOR ITALIAN SAUSAGE)
1Teaspoonfennel seed (crushed)
1⁄4Teaspooncayenne pepper
1⁄2Teaspoonsalt & pepper
1⁄4Teaspoongarlic powder
 Unknownvegetable oil (FOR SKILLET SUPPER)
1 green pepper (cut into strips)
1 onion (sliced)
1Cuptomato juice
1⁄2Teaspoonsalt, pepper and oregano
1Centigrampotatoes (pared and sliced)

Instructions

FOR Italian Sausage:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.  Cover and refrigerate for several hours.

FOR Skillet Supper:

For Italian sausage into patties.  Using a large covered skillet, brown patties on both sides in a bit of oil.  Remove from skillet.  Saute onions in oil until softened.  Add potatoes to skillet, follow with patties, seasoning, peppers, and tomato juice.  Bring to a boil.  Lower heat and cover tightly.  Simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
