Description

Who doesn't love a simple, delicious one dish meal. This Roast can be made ahead, slow cooked and served with fresh vegetables

Ingredients

2Poundchuck roast (high quality; can use up to 3 Lbs.)
1CanFrench Onion soup
1Cancream of mushroom soup
1Teaspoonsalt & pepper
3 potatoes (cut into wedge or cubes)
10 baby carrots

Instructions

Place roast in slow cooker.  Add soups and sprinkle salt and pepper on top.  Cook on low 6-7hrs.  Potatoes and carrots may be added 1/5 hours before serving roast.  Soups make a great gravy.

Notes

Variations - Omit vegetables and use 1 (8oz.) can mushrooms and 1/4 c. burgundy wine or purple grape juice.
