| 2 | Pound | ground chuck |
| 2 | Quart | water |
| 1 | Can | diced tomatoes (28 oz. ) |
| 1 | Can | tomato sauce (28 oz. ) |
| 2 | Cup | cooked rice |
| 2 | Cup | green peppers (chopped) |
| 2 | Teaspoon | salt |
| 2 | beef boullion cubes | |
| 1⁄4 | Cup | brown sugar |
| 1 | Teaspoon | pepper |
Brown meat and drain well. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until peppers are tender.
