| 1 | Cup | flour |
| 4 | Tablespoon | butter |
| 1 | egg | |
| 1⁄2 | Teaspoon | salt |
Sift flour and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in egg. Knead on a floured board. Roll out 1/2 inch thick, cut to desired size. Put in a 6 inch iron skillet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes.
