Description

These Danish meatballs are a traditional dish best served with ketchup

Ingredients

2Poundground beef
1 onion (grated)
2 eggs
1⁄2Teaspoonthyme
1⁄8Teaspoongarlic powder
1Teaspoonsalt
1⁄2Teaspoonseasoned salt & Worcestershire sauce
2Cupflour
1⁄2Cupwater

Instructions

Mix together ground beef, onion, eggs, thyme, garlic powder, salt, seasoned salt, Worcestershire suace, flour, and water.  Form the mixture into large egg-sized meatballs and brown them on three sides in a skillet.  Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour. 

Notes

This is a Danish meatball recipe handed down through my family from my great-grandmother.  She served these with homemade ketchup
