Turkey Ham & Apple Sandwiches

Description

Edam cheese is melted inside cinnamon-raisin bread and then paired with thinly sliced tart apple. Yum!

Ingredients

1⁄2Cupapple butter
2Teaspoononion (grated)
1⁄2Teaspoondry mustard
8Slicecinnamon-raisin bread (toasted)
4Ounceturkey ham (thinly sliced)
2OunceEdam cheese (thinly sliced)
1 apple (sliced, cored)

Instructions

Slice apple cross-wise into rings.  Combine apple butter, onion and dry mustard in a small bowl; stir well.  Spread apple butter mixture evenly over 1 side of toast slices.  Divide turkey ham, cheese and apple rings evenly over 4 bread slices.  Top with remaining toast slices.  Garnish with apple wedges if desired.
