Description

This is good as a bread or as a dessert rolled in brown sugar and cinnamon dipped in honey. You can also serve with pie filling.

Ingredients

2Cupflour
1⁄2Teaspoonsalt
1⁄3Cupoil
1Cupmilk (as needed)
  oil (for frying)

Instructions

Sift dry ingredients and make a well in center. Pour n oil plus 1 cup of milk for a start. Mix into a stiff dough, add a little more milk if necessary. Roll out thin like a pie crust. Cut with biscuit cutter into 2-inch or 3-inch pieces. Deep fry in oil until golden brown on each side.
