| 1 | small bell pepper (chopped) | |
| 1 | Cup | green beans |
| 3⁄4 | Cup | chopped onion |
| 3⁄4 | Cup | uncooked barley |
| 1 | Package | frozen mixed vegetables |
| 1 1⁄2 | Cup | water |
| 1 | Teaspoon | salt |
| 1⁄2 | Teaspoon | dried thyme |
| 1⁄4 | Teaspoon | pepper |
| 2 | Can | beef broth |
| 2 | Can | diced tomatoes with garlic |
| 1 | Can | tomato sauce |
Mix all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook 8-9 hours on low heat or 4-5 hours on high heat.
