Body of Christ

The term "Body of Christ" refers to the entire group of individuals who profess belief in Jesus Christ, and are empowered by his Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12). Discernment of the Body of Christ is crucial for our health and life (1 Corinthians 11:13). We must not only discern Christ’s body, but also our placement and function within it (1 Corinthians 12:12).
