Feast of Booths

"You shall celebrate the Feast of Booths seven days..." (Deuteronomy 16:13). The Feast of Tabernacles is also known as the Feast of Ingathering or Feast of Booths and is called Sukkoth by the Jews today. This festival pictures the 1,000-year rule of Jesus Christ on this earth, known as the Millennium.

The book of John points out that when the "Feast of Tabernacles was at hand," Jesus Himself "went up to the feast" and taught at the temple in Jerusalem. This was done in observance of the final of three annual Festival seasons that are outlined in the Bible, particularly in the book of Leviticus. What does the Feast of Tabernacles mean for Christians today?
