What makes the difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary?
We all admire people who are able to achieve great things. Usually they have a gift or talent, but we also know that a great deal of work and effort are needed to hone that talent into something special. Everything that has value requires diligent effort on our part. Some estimate that special people have 5 percent more talent and 95 percent better work habits. In every high-level achievement we can find people who work harder than anyone else.
The difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary is the word "extra." It is the extra you put in that makes that difference. The "profitable servant" does more than just what his duty requires him to do (Luke 17:10So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

The Bible tells us to do whatever we decide to do with all our might (Ecclesiastes 9:10Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
