Others view life as so complex that it has become meaningless. Neither view is right. Conflicts have been resolved, and there is great meaning in life—but that cannot be brought to light unless there is dialogue. Dialogue is the exchanging of views through which meaning in life can be found and differences resolved. Through dialogue, we enlarge our minds so we can grasp new ideas and learn to reconcile the new with what is old.

Dialogue is so valuable that even our Creator want to engage us in it. He says that we need to reason together—that is exchange ideas (Isaiah 1:18). God does not force us to accept His opinion, but He does expect us to be smart enough to recognize when we are wrong. He hopes we will understand that there are spiritual laws to live by just as there are physical laws. He is the author of both of these and for us it is time to talk things over with Him.
